Athens, September 9, 2026 – Acropolis Secret has received a new and significant distinction, earning the international title “Ambassador of Greek Cuisine®” for 2026 and 2027.

Set against the backdrop of the Acropolis, the Acropolis Secret, located on the rooftop of Divani Palace Acropolis, has established a distinctive gastronomic destination in the historic heart of Athens, where contemporary Greek cuisine meets sophisticated aesthetics and the unique atmosphere of the Sacred Rock.

The “Ambassador of Greek Cuisine®” distinction is an official certification awarded by the internationally recognized organization GREEK TASTE BEYOND BORDERS® (GTBB). It recognizes Acropolis Secret’s gastronomic identity and its commitment to authenticity, quality, and the international promotion of Greek cuisine.

The certification process is based on the GTBB Prototype, the institutional operating standard established by GREEK TASTE BEYOND BORDERS® (GTBB), which defines the framework, evaluation criteria, and requirements governing the certification process. The assessment is conducted under the supervision of a distinguished committee comprising international personalities and professionals with a strong presence in the field of gastronomy, associated with the international organizations AMBASSADORS OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® (organization & guide) and AUTHENTIC WORLD TASTE® (AWT) (premium product certifiers), subsidiary legal entities of GTBB.

At Acropolis Secret, the culinary direction is led by Executive Chef Konstantinos Alexiadis, who was also honored with the title “Ambassador for Greek Gastronomy® – Gold Medal 2026.” Over the past years, he has created a menu that draws inspiration from classic Greek cuisine while expressing it through a contemporary lens. Octopus meatballs with tarama mousse, grilled sea bass with warm potato salad and capers, creamy lobster pasta, as well as creations such as the Greek burger with Cretan graviera, Florina pepper pesto, and Domokos katiki, come together in a menu that highlights both the uniqueness and diversity of Greek flavors.
